Ordering your favorite dishes has never been simpler. Follow the steps stated below to place an order with WannaEat:
At WannaEat, your comfort is our top priority. Therefore, we offer you the option of pick up or delivery. You can make your selection at checkout.
When it comes to food, there’s just one thing more crucial than the pure gastronomic pleasure and contentment it provides: safety and hygiene. We make sure that all chefs on our platform successfully complete food safety training and are certified. We do kitchen inspections and food tasting for every chef that onboards our platform. We also regularly check that the chefs are maintaining the highest safety standards required to deliver delicious meals to you.
Our support squad is always just a couple of taps away. All you have to do is open the app, go to the Settings in My Account tab, and select the ‘Contact Us’ option. You can submit your inquiry through the app or call us on our support number. It will connect you with one of our representatives, who will attend to your issues.
Yes, you can buy dishes for multiple dates in one order. An order can be for only one chef. If you want to buy from another chef, you can place a separate order with them.
Yes, you can, as long as they are for the same day and same delivery window
We offer two methods for getting delicious meals from the chef’s kitchen to your plate: delivery and pick-up. You can choose either at checkout. At the moment, you can get your order delivered or pick it up during two windows throughout the day, i.e. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. for Brunch/Lunch orders and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m for Dinner orders. This gives the chef the essential predictability they need to give you the best experience. However, rest assured that we are constantly working to introduce more flexible delivery/pick-up windows in the near future.
Primarily chefs operate on pre-orders so that they can know the number of orders at least a day in advance so that they can shop, prep and cook accordingly. In a rare scenario, they may prepare some dishes on the current day and would like to sell it the same day. Those dishes are displayed under ‘Available today’ as they don’t require any advance pre-ordering.
One of WannaEat’s core values is comfort. Your comfort is paramount. Don't want to create an account, no worries! It’s fairly easy to place an order without creating an account. Just download the app, skip sign-up and explore the food in the app and place your order as a guest user.
However, creating an account with us will yield numerous benefits. Not only will you be able to keep a track of your new and past orders, but also save a lot of time on order placement, address book, payments, order cancellation, and a lot of other features.
All our Chefs diligently curate an accurate list of all the ingredients they use for each of their dishes. The Chefs mention some of the dietary requirements as tags however, we strongly suggest that the best way to avoid the violation of any dietary preferences or allergies is to go through the ingredients listed on the Dish details page before buying.
Ah, promo codes! Who doesn’t love a hefty discount? Something so lucrative should be easy to use, and that’s how it is with WannaEat. To avail a discount, just search for discount offers on the app's Home Page carousel. Copy the promo code from the ‘Offer Details’ page and paste it into the ‘Order Summary’ page in the app, hit ‘Apply’, and proceed with the checkout process.
You can make payments using credit and debit cards. To make the payment process even simpler, our app offers you the ability to save your card details, so that you do not have to enter the payment information every time you place a new order.
The portion size differs from chef to chef and might change depending on the type of dish you order. Our chefs make sure to state the portion size for every dish and you can see it clearly on their menu.
To rate your experience and write a review, simply locate your order in the ‘My Orders’ section located in the ‘My Account’ tab in the app. Underneath the order is the ‘Rate & Review’ button. Just tap it and write away.
To track your order, go to the “My Orders'' section in “My Account”. You will be able to see the status of all your orders there.
Orders can be canceled 7 days prior to the deadline the chef has set for placing an order. Customer can go to the App -> My Account -> My Orders to cancel the order.
We understand that life happens. Therefore cancellation requests are handled on a case by case basis. The chefs are small business owners and it's challenging for them when customers cancel their orders last minute. To protect the chefs, we do not allow cancellations through the app. If however, you have a genuine reason to cancel, please reach out to our support team. They will work with the chefs to figure out what options exist to help you and the chefs.
In the unfortunate event that a chef is unable to fulfil your order for any reason (sickness, personal emergencies etc.), we let them cancel their order(s). This policy makes sure that the customers are protected.
WannaEat is currently live in 10 towns in New Jersey - Millburn, Short Hills, Livingston, Chatham, Chatham Township, Chatham Burough, Summit, Springfield, Maplewood, West Orange and South Orange. Stay tuned for our expansion to additional towns.
You can delete your account by following the below navigation on the WannaEat App. This action will delete all your data from WannaEat and you will no longer have an account with us.Go to WannaEat App --> My Account --> Settings --> Delete Account
You can also request a deletion of your account by sending an email to hi@wannaeat.com with your Name, registered Email Address and Phone number on file.
